Duality Within

I sincerely hope this finds you well and at peace.  As I write this, I find myself in an age-old struggle deep within me.  I made a in a hurry careless mistake last week.  The mistake did not seem to have a big effect negatively on anything, yet it was a haunting mistake for me.  Because of the mistake, I began to get negative on myself because I did something that was careless.

As this self-inflicted interaction within me was taking place, I found that there was no good coming from it.  In fact, there was collateral damage happening, creating other thoughts to grow that were negative and unhealthy in nature.  Things like anger issues, self-righteousness, negative attitude about life and other thoughts that at one time plagued me all to often.

With good reason, this set me on a spiral down into a deprived place in me.  Even though I am a Christian, I am still a sinner.  Becoming a Christian added something to me, that I do not deserve, called forgiveness a gift from God.  All my imperfection is still intact and working to control me in my Christian forgiveness, doing battle moment by moment.

As I was experiencing this most unsettling time of life a thought occurred to me.  It is something I have told people many times so to do battle with their sin nature.  The principal goes something like this: do not use Satan’s tools to do good!  This whole idea came home to rest on me in a unique way.

What happened was this, what I was trying to pound out and destroy in my own strength, was only serving to spread the seed of discontent, inferiority, and unforgiveness in areas that I was previously overcoming because of God’s forgiveness.  I was using Satan’s tools to do God’s work of sanctification/purification.  (SIGH) What an opportunity to practice what you preach Denny!  Rats!  Found out again!

In being found out by my misconception of God’s grace there was an epiphany moment, sin is extremely subtle influencing us away from God.  Even with experience in living in faith I was fooled.  When I use Satan’s tools to do good I am using a defeated method.  Therefore, whatever I do with Satan’s tools is bound to fail by God’s Victory over sin.  All of Lucifer’s tools are defeated foes.

Now if I applied God’s tools to the same situation of my mistake/sin, (Now I am) tools such as confession, grace, forgiveness, and humility what would have grown out of those God-given tools?  God desires to prosper His children not destroy us.  Each human being is an image bearer of God therefore; Satan has no problem cannibalizing his own followers (unredeemed image bearers) to do his evil, or anyone else who will avail themselves to his power lies and work, even believers in Jesus.

Paul the Apostle prayed three times for a thorn in the flesh/sin to be removed from him.  God answered Paul and said: My grace is sufficient.  Without checks and balances in living it is easy to be duped into a sense of victory when in reality it is God dependent -given victory not self victory.  We say something like: Do not worry God I have got it handled.  I will stamp out sin in my life let me show you how.  God, see how good I am!

Good and perfect gifts come from above and the book of James tells us our own sin nature leads us astray.  It certainly pulled me astray in trying to take care of my own sin.  I am dependent on a merciful God for all the forgiveness I will ever need as I live.

A mixed bag of blessing and failure is how I appear right now to others and me.  However, to my Lord and Savior I am sinless and un-condemned see Romans 8.  I call 8:1 the first three rules of Christianity there is no condemnation, there is no condemnation, there is no condemnation.  It is my choice on how I live, I do not choose to continue to use Satan’s failed tools.  I want to learn to use God’s tools for living well and not be duped into a lesser life.

To be or not to be is not the question!  To live by God’s grace that is wild and wonderful or to have a false sense of control of your life and live by Satan’s rules of pseudo-life is the real question.  God has given each of us one life to figure this out.

Jesus is building a place for you, your choice; do you want fellowship with God forever?  If you answer yes, then ask Jesus in your own words to forgive your sin.  Then start walking with Him, remember you are forgiven, and live like you are thankful for what Jesus did for you.  Yes, salvation can be that simple. (if God has forgiven you, you will see that living in thanks to God is a privilege and joy not a law of any kind) God wants your fellowship so much He died and overcame death to show you the way to overcome sin.

In Christ’s resurrection.

A right to good health?

As I’m sitting here writing this blog and I am in great pain in my right knee.  I just landed a decent job, supposed to start in a week and a half.  I can barely walk on my right knee.  I have already given notice to my former job.  Has God abandoned me?  God knew what was going to happen when I applied for the new job and turned in my resignation for the old one.

I try to leave a half decent life, should God owe me a healthy knee, need time to start my job and try get health benefits and some time off to recuperate from whatever is going to happen to my knee?  Should I be doubting through my faith trying to figure out what’s going on?

Do I have a right to good health?  I think of Johnny Erickson, and my friend Bill whom blogs on WordPress as unshakable hope, they both have wonderful ministries and reach many people.  However, they both have health problems, they are different but, nonetheless glaring health problems.

Why would a common guy like me deserve better health than these two fine warriors of the Lord doing wonderful work bringing his peace and love to the world?  So here, I am in my pain, and feeling sorry for the bad situation I am in.  Should I even ask God to heal my knee so I can go to a new job or even work?

My best answer is yes I should ask.  But my attitude is I have no right to ask God to help me in this situation.  For now it is like this, here in the Shadowlands where there is dark and light, good and evil, there is a price to pay in fallenness.  However, the price I pay is a bargain compared to my life without God.  If God decides not to heal my knee it simply means he has another plan for my life that I gave to him upon my salvation.  Help my faith in Jesus and his everlasting love.

Salvation is kind of a word that says God fulfilled All laws of the Old Testament’s requirement in perfect obedience.  Because of this perfect obedience to the law of the Old Testament God was able by one death to pay for all sin that was ever committed.  He kept the law because he knew I could never do it on my own or even with his help here in this world that we live in.  Jesus is risen and living today.

I currently have his help in the Holy Spirit indwelling me, I still struggle with the darkness and go to war war with it on a regular basis.  It seems that I win battles but only to find that there are so many more to be fought.  At first this sounds discouraging but, God is a life-giving Redeemer.  This gives an ability for me to see how short I fall of his glory and be encouraged because he has promised to love me and obliterated my biggest problem I had.  I never have to worry about going to hell ever again because the work of Jesus.  It has nothing to do at all with my work that I do but everything with the work that he does.

All I did was receive Jesus’s perfect work by answering his call, no work involved at all on my part.  Now about my knee, if I have trusted God with my salvation and life.  Why am I having such a hard time trusting with something as simple as the human knee.

There are many medical procedures to help fix knees and other parts of the body.  The timing and everything else of this injury has been so wrong for me.  One day I am fine the next day I’m barely walking.  I am in a struggle with doubt and want, darkness is of varying degree.  Help me Lord Jesus!

OUCH,

Denny

Salt

Salt

Salt is just fascinating!  It is made of two poisonous elements when they are mixed together becomes a molecule of life giving foundation.  Too much you can die, too little and you will die. You can even race a car on the rock of salt!  If you grind sugar just right, it looks like salt. HMMMM!

In the contrast between salt and sugar, just visually, sometimes I find it difficult to tell a difference.  But the moment you touch’s sugar and salt there is a texture difference.  Instantly as you taste sugar and salt there is a flavor difference.  The similarity does not end there.

If you eat enough of either one, of salt, or sugar you will become thirsty physically.  Your body needs water to dilute the salt.  Your body needs water to digest the sugar.  Aside from flavor and texture there are other differences between salt and sugar.

Salt you cannot live without.  Sugar you never have to ingest to live.  Sugar is sometimes used to celebrate because of its great flavor.  The same for the flavor of salt, it is a spice that enhances the flavor of many savory culinary delights. (they enhance differently)

In Matthew five 13 it says “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.  Since I claim to be Christian, I am to be like salt making people spiritually thirsty for living water and better after the contact.

In Christianity, have we (THE UNITED STATES CHURCH) become too sweet?  Is this the condition of the current church in the United States?  Are we so sweet that were hard to digest?  In my personal opinion, we are SALT trampled under as the church.  There is no longer the same respect church had in bygone years.

I am truly hoping the grace awakening that is occurring slowly in the organized church will be a grassroots movement to restore respect and love of the church (its spiritual saltiness).  Jesus never wavered from his mission or message, yet, he never lacked a crowd of people around him to listen.  “Methinks” were doing something wrong as the church a.k.a. the body of Christ!

Jesus is spiritually salty.  Jesus provides the living water to quench the thirst.  All believers who have been, or ever will be, are ambassadors of the same exact gospel a.k.a. salt.  Learning of this gospel and speaking of it in purest terms, not adding to the gospel, not taking away from the gospel just as Christ did, we can also.  The gospel, the whole gospel, and nothing but the gospel in sincerity and truth and love is the purest witness of  Jesus.

Jesus did not have to change his message for the Jew or the Gentile a.k.a. Greek.  The gospel invited everyone not just select few to the Most Exclusive place, God’s very own home.  This is God’s own home with all benefits of perfect health, adventures incredible, and never a dull moment, freely extended to all God’s children/family.

Yes!  You are welcome to answer God’s call at any time.  Come taste, witness in purest condition the Gospel of Jesus.  God is looking for you and calling your name, waiting for you to answer.  This kind of wisdom is calling you within the continuum of life, as long as you live!

If you have never interacted with Jesus, walk with him for a while, he will never force you to walk with him.  If you have walked with Jesus or not, try the book Prodigal God by Timothy Keller.  Understand the gospel in a new purer way.  If you are in the throes of battle walking with God in his gospel, persevere and be strong and courageous.

Jesus is the only one that can take strong and courageous and make it look meek and humble!  Dear ambassador of Jesus, do not grow wary of your calling, faint not in your well doing.  Amplify your dependence on the source of your strength in Christ Jesus.  ‘Today is a good day to die’, or is it: be a living sacrifice!

Your brother in Christ,

Denny

Teddy bears and God

How do you start a thought like this?  I know, I will start with a confession, not a bad place to start.  I said I was going to do one article a month this year.  If you strictly talk about one article per month, I did not do one last month, January the forward and backward looking month.  So! I have zero out of two months and have broken a New Year’s resolution, resolutely.  As usual, I am knowingly living on grace again, even more day by day!

Now that is off my chest I can talk about teddy bears.  Did you ever have a teddy bear?  Do you still have that teddy bear?  It really does not have to be a teddy bear but just something from your childhood that never left your side.  A toy a blanket, adults sometimes called them security toys.  In Peanuts Linus and his trusty blanket is the best example I can think of.

The poor security toy started out as pristine and new.  It was as clean as could be freshly made and every thread or part in its place.  At this time teddy was not dragged  everywhere.  The attachment has not yet developed fully or completely.  Adults were even proud for the children to be associated with these “security toys” in their new beautiful condition.  However, most likely the child just clung to it not realizing at the moment, what this inanimate object was becoming to them and their life.

As time passes the connection to the toy increases, the condition of the Toy deteriorates.  This precious toy, from now on I will call it a teddy bear no matter what it was to you, is attached to the child the child goes everywhere.  It goes under beds, outside, through mud puddles, gets vomited on, of course the occasional trip to the washing machine, separation anxiety, and every other situation you can think of!

Do you have such a toy?  Do you ever have days you wish you could cuddle up to it and have it with you now?  Any memory stirring in you?               (Well dude!  I get what kind of toy you are talking about; I’m still not seeing God!  And you’re starting to lose me, dragging on the teddy bear point!  You are right friend.)

I wish I were, a teddy bear living on love…Okay I digress!

Well, let us think about God a little.  God does not need anything.  In His Trinity singleness, there is complete perfection of wholeness, richness of relationship, complete safety, and perfection ultimate.  God created us to share in His perfection.  There are a few misconceptions out there about God, and I’m going to attempt to tackle one of them or really mess things up, you decide. ( I hope after the read, LOL)

Where is God when bad things happen?  A really, extremely, tough question, at least for me.

So, let us observe at the teddy bear, not the ant as in Proverbs!  Do you remember how inseparable the teddy bear was?  Multiply that closeness by about 1 billion to the one billionth power,…, now you’re just starting to fathom God’s love to mankind.  Do you remember how the child took the teddy bear everywhere?  Did the child even consider that it might hurt the teddy bear when the child took to at risk places?

Fortunately, with God, he does consider us as he pulls us into situation after situation.  However, each situation has a choice contained in it.  When I first started walking with God ” consciously “ the choice seemed to be; is God good or not?  With each, encounter  or trial with doubt, trouble, frustration with God the question had to be considered, then answered to self and God.  Unlike the child who drug the teddy bear everywhere, God seemed to gently ease into the questions about God,  exercising my free will to choose for him or against him each time.

Yes!  God will customize each question, each situation, and the toughness of the situation to optimize his children’s growth in him. (He knows us well)  Fortunately, through God’s rich grace, failure is an option!  Yes!  God will drag you into tough situations.  God will never leave you or forsake you in those situations as you are his child.

Nothing can separate you from God.  Therefore, he goes, you go with Him!  God is never afraid of tough situations. He has no fear of your answer as long as you are honest. (I would G be hot or cold, if you are lukewarm I will vomit you out.)

Wherever the child went the bear was sure to be close by.  Now think about God and his close relationship with his creation.  God’s job is to go to good places and celebrate sometimes, and go to bad at other times with us in tow.  (We are followers of Christ ) The Bible states we cannot be separated from the love of God.

This means that we go where God goes because we are inseparable.  I do not think any of us mind when we get to go to good places or fun places with God as he travels with us.  But!  What about the bad places, the places where the teddy bears eyes get ripped off.  The places where the teddy bear gets all muddy and dirty, but is still with the owner faithfully being a companion to the owner.  The places of terror us to where we  our stuffing coming out of burst seams.  Do we enjoy those incredibly tough moments?

If we don’t like them we still have choice to leave.  Or!  We can stay with God and see what he’s going to do!

Do we want to follow God in those tough moments or times?  Should God send somebody other than us to represent him in those tough times?  Do you want a brand-new follower of Christ or would you rather one of God’s tattered and torn teddy bears to come to represent God and his comfort.  A believer who has seen the good times and the bad times with God,  even though beat up on the outside the stuffing’s or innards of this believer are pristine and new. (The outward man perishes but the inward man is renewed day by day)

As God takes you places in life that are painful.  Is he prepping you to be one of his tattered yet well repaired teddy bears to carry his pure song into a disaster?  In the book of James it says: count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations.  You are becoming one of God’s well-worn teddy bears that stick around and he can trust to send in to the tough situations as the King himself leads his army to help a lost and hurting world.

Sure, it may look like we have few parts absent and a few seams where there should not be seams, but we have stuffing inside us that has been renewed, purified and cleaned day by day.  We Are loved and sent by the Holy One God into the trouble of this world to help humankind see a God who is worthy of their life.  No!  Not to send judgment or condemnation on you!  But, to send an invitation to join God in his heavenly place. (Good and perfect gifts come from above.)  The other stuff comes from somewhere else! (The other team has a strong propaganda team, I must admit)

Do you complain like I complained when God takes the places with him that I don’t want to go?  Is the love God has given you worth being sent to places you do not want to go?  Well, it is not as hard as it sounds.  The gospel burden is not heavy, because God through Jesus carries the entire burden or performance to get into heaven.

In other words if you believe in Jesus Christ and the work he did for you and accepted Jesus as your only hope to get into heaven, then you are one of God’s precious teddy bears.  God has enough room in his arms to carry all of us at the same moment through all the troubles for all time.

So, God is kinda like a faithful teddy bear scenario.  He loves you the teddy bear, but the teddy bear may not be as willing to love as God loves his teddy bear.  Even so, He led you into tough situations because there is a need for his love and care for someone.  (Should he send you just the easy jobs ?  Jesus did not spare himself.) He sends the ones who are nearest, not necessarily best prepared, but God prepared, to carry his good news to the ones that he loves that are in trouble.

Yes, he has prepared you for that work for you cannot do.  Wisdom is screaming out in the streets, slow up, listen, watch.  Pray that your eyes are opened in your ears unplugged your mind freed.  The creator’s wisdom is everywhere.

Where is God when people are killed by disasters or famine, war, each others words and that the like?  God is sending his soldiers, followers to comfort with his good news.  He is cuddling the souls of the people that are hurting and dying.  He is listening for that last moment call that they believe in God and welcoming His own.

He hopes and desires for acceptance  from the unsaved and invites fellowship with him, but accepts the denial of his grace, then he bitterly weeps because he’s been separated from his dear teddy bear.  The one he never wanted to be separated from.  This is where God is in everyone’s time of trouble.

He is not afraid of any of your trouble He is with you to the last moment ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, your choice accept or deny the good news, a.k.a. the gospel of Christ.  What do you think?

Humbly submitted,

Denny

POWER!

WOW!  2016 Election Day is now in the ‘was’ category. It seemed to me this year brought more than the usual election hustle and bustle.  I find it fascinating and painful to hear people talk about leaving the United States if their party is not elected.  In this mindset, it seems to indicate the thinking would be there is hate for the other party and a division with a deep chasm of separation in the peoples of the United States.

Most special interest political groups fan these fires of division and hate.  Personally, I listen to things that I totally disagree with for the sake of understanding.  Fortunately, I usually can pick out some pretty good things that the person is saying that I can agree with or increase an understanding of their view, even with strong disagreement on my part with the general issue being presented.  Learning is always wonderful even when painful!

The special interest groups while fanning the fires of division, at the same moment are also fanning the fires of agreement within their own group but do not think too much.  They teach their group how superior their ideas are for the particular issue they are touting as important.  They will tell their followers to seduce other people into their way of thinking to increase their power base by numbers.

Does any of this sound very familiar?  Have you ever been wooed by a group just to be forgotten when you joined the group?  Have you given permission for their power over you for your vote, influence, and power for their cause just to find out it really was not what they advertised?  Have your been disappointed by your decision to support an agenda?  What is your special power?  How are you using your power, well?  Do you feel you have no power?  How are we supposed to use power anyway?

It appears to me that power has become something people want and desire yet if they go after power they are viewed as being egotistical.  So the answer to defray the ego trip perception is: you go after doing good, kind and helping actions to improve the world and lo and behold power just happens to come with it!  Yes, this fixes everything and makes the world right and beautiful.  REALLY?

Thinking of this genre was well used in advertisement campaign of Barnum and Bailey Circus when it came to town with “The Greatest Show on Earth.”  Even if the shows were not good they were touted as the greatest show on earth.  I think the quote went something like this, “there’s a sucker born every minute”.  This sound to me like a power that desires to fleece me and take advantage of you and I.  How would you classify this use of power?

Enough!  There is power out there that is true and as solid as it ever has been!  It is wrapped in grace and love and can appear weak because of this.  Don’t be fooled, the power of the Gospel of God is the only true power ever introduced to this world.  The Gospel is pure, clean, perfectly good, and incorruptible.

Yes, you are right!  There have been people who have used institutions representing this Gospel to their own advantage to gain personal power over people.  But the Gospel has never been diminished in power because of corruptions of people.  This is why God gives you time, yes time, to sift through the many advertised concepts of God as they are in existence.  It is your responsibility to test the ideas then decide for yourself.

This is an absolute responsibility that God gave you, you can’t give it away, and therefore there is no blame for anyone except for yourself for your decision.  Yes, you can be duped but it is on your shoulders to make the decision, duped or not.

This is an absolute responsibility that God gave you, you can’t give it away, and therefore there is no blame for anyone except for yourself for your decision.  Yes, you can be duped but it is on your shoulders to make the decision, duped or not.

It is written that all power is given in Heaven and earth to Jesus.  Yet, in all the stories contained in the Bible there have always been choices to disobey God freely and blatantly included in the record of God’s people, God’s people sinned not the world.  Yet seldom do these people die or received judgment immediately for their decision not to follow God.

There are lines that we have the choice to cross that God will not allow continuing for ever.  Even today God’s judgment in regards these infractions are absolute and immediate.  Within this power of God’s love and grace, there is latitude for much wrong and evil to exist.  These troubles are used as the activators of our free will.  For example, if we see something as being wrong or bad in action in this world, not necessarily personal events, but in this world, we have been activated to see good and evil.  Good and evil which are God’s given choice of which side to give your life energy to!

Jesus entered the world so that we might be able to see someone who lived completely by God’s law and precepts would look like.  We also have the story of how the world would treat someone who lives completely by God’s laws and precepts.  Yes, there is a great love for Jesus and his powerful reasoning and teaching on good and evil by some people.  There was also a strong hate for Jesus, who in all his power he did not wipe out immediately, but Jesus did request their forgiveness for their hate given him, this created a choice for mankind to ponder and decide their own allegiance for or against God.

The power that is used to force a person into a one-way choice is corruption and entrapment.  Don’t fear, God is not corrupt, He allows you to freely choose which way you want to go.  There are consequences that go with each of the choices.  But the final choice is yours.  Consequences happen to believers and nonbelievers in this world because it is fallen and broken, don’t be fooled false responsibility advertising.

Truth and power, when wielded accurately and righteously, are activators of choice.  Acceptance of truth is an awakening of a person into living moment by moment with options available and a rock solid base to guide each decision.  Power is not evil when used to activate a choice.  Therefore, the truth is this, there is always a way to escape evil when you’re under the power of God by choice to accept the Gospel.

All power was given for the good of mankind.  Abuse of power is only given to the evil one.  Without power, God cannot love us well.  Personally, I would not want an impotent lover of my soul.

Without power, God cannot protect me from all the things that I see going on in this world.  No, protection does not mean he will allow me to live to ripe old age, protection means that my soul is headed toward heaven and no power in existence can stop that from happening.  This is true power.

This Godly pure power was given so that man could inner a rest and not worried about hell for all of his days.  It is also given to exploring and enriching your life by participating with God in his goodness.  Find good power in your life through Jesus Christ.  It is the best adventure you will ever go on, no it is not easy, but it is the only consistent pure clean thing I’ve ever experienced.

You are invited to taste of this power and see if it is good.  I invite you to test God, not me I will fail, God is awesome always and he knows you well.  Power and its use by God are able to change you and enables his protected to be the best person you can be.

Your free will is only activated when you’re alive!  All life True power is found in God!  Awake your soul which slumbers, only in God,  will you know life and life more abundant than you had ever dreamed.  The adventure of following God is here, you have been invited.  What do you say about following pure clean power in Christ Jesus?

I am one imperfect person, who is a believer in Christ, attempting to convey the message of a perfect God to the people of the world with reason and grace.

Sincerely yours,

Denny

Ransomware

Ransomware is used by a hacker on your own computer to lock you out of your folders on your own computer!  Then the computer owner would be contacted by the hacker with an amount of money to be paid to unlock the owner’s very own folders.  When the ransom is paid there is a unlock key sent to the owner so they can again access their own computer.

There is a ransomware running on every single human being since the fall of mankind.  It is a kind of fog of spirit, mind, and body that blinds us and redirects us in any direction except toward God.  God out of his own resource created us in his image.  Then Satan in the form of a serpent stepped in and hijacked God’s creation and for the first time, there is trouble in this world.

The fog of Satin is continually pointing to God with blame and responsibility in all wrong that is manifested in this world.  You name the trouble sickness, accidents, natural disasters, death itself, and all other kinds of evil, God gets blamed for it.  Worse yet, God is even asked where he was when these bad things happen.

This very thinking is what put Jesus on the cross.  Jesus did nothing but good yet was blamed for all evil in trouble and was falsely condemned for doing wrong.  The problem is, Jesus is guilty of being God!  So the verdict that was handed down was correct, Jesus is guilty of being God.  However, Jesus is not guilty of blasphemy for which he was condemned.  It is true that he is the Son of God in flesh and named Jesus.

When the Trinity expelled mankind from the Garden of Eden there was cherubim and an impassable fiery sword that pointed in all directions at the entrance of Eden. Gen3:24 when this sword, impassable by man or Satan, was placed at the entrance of Eden, Jesus knew that he would be facing the wrath of the sword at his own expense and pain so that man could gain reentry into fellowship with God and dwell with God in heaven.

The essence of this fact means that God knew completely when Satan was allowed to tempt man if man succumbed to the temptation; God knew the exorbitant price that would have to be paid to ransom man back to perfect and completely fulfilling ownership of God.  God in his infinite wisdom desired fellowship with mankind, but only if there is a conscience free choice decision, on mankind’s part to choose to love and worship God.

The exorbitant price was paid through Jesus Christ in the will of the Father, through condemning an innocent Jesus so that he could face the wrath of God for sins that were committed by mankind.  Salvation cost God and immense price of suffering and pain.  Another way of thinking this is that Satan is limited in his lies while God is unlimited in his love and truth and grace.

Your ransom has been paid completely by God.  Nothing you can do can earn, change, or improve what God has done for you completely and his finished work of the gospel.  But, you must choose to accept this gift and if you want an adventurous life then apply this gift to your life.  Then you can enter the struggle of relationship with and faith in God.

The struggle is this.  It is easy to see and experience Satan’s limited power now.  Satan is very successful in his blame God for all of his evil campaigns.  But one thing I have noticed if someone lays blame on something outside themselves they are in fact being controlled by that outside force.  So when Satan blames God it is easy to believe the fault because God is in fact in control.  In Satan’s blame, he is proving the truth that God is in absolute control and distorting it for his insidious deception game.

The fog of the situation is to hide this, God does not want to control you absolutely as Satan desires to.  God wants you to freely choose to love and worship him.  As you grow in Christ suffering will happen to you, this is it an invitation to be identified with Christ and his suffering.  (Though he were son yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.  Hebrews 5:8 see II Corinthians 1:9) As you persevere through the suffering and believe God is good you are being purified of the lies in which Satan entraps mankind.

Get free of the ransomware that Satan has put on your life through the fall of mankind.  You have never experienced freedom until you have experienced the freedom of Jesus Christ.  The choice of Christ as your God activates for the first time a real choice of life or death in your decision-making process.  With Satan, all your choices are the lesser of two evils, with some of Satan’s decisions disguised to look like God’s good way!

You may live in a country that touts freedom as a right.  But, it is not the same kind of soul freedom that you experience with Jesus.  Give the life ransomware locked onto your life to Jesus and let Him give you the key which is Jesus to become free and activate a real choice of free living will.  Then you can see the facts of life! God Loves you and gave himself for you while you were yet a sinner!  Romans 5:8 also see. 1 John 4:19

Satan desires to deceive you and believe that this suffering life is all there is.  Satan also wants to believe that you better grab and take now, because there’s nothing else.  Satan is a master of entrapment and deception while making you think you are in control, not him!  Don’t be fooled!

If you ever want true freedom, there is no other pathway on earth that gives you choice outside of Jesus Christ and his way.  Only after you become a believer, you will learn to exercise your freedom in ways you never thought possible.  Your free will (true life) becomes active after your acceptance of Jesus and his payment for your sin is redeemed in you.

If you wisely choose to become more humble before God and as you walk with him your free will is exercised, becomes stronger, and wiser as you grow in Jesus Christ the Word.  (Yes, you will stumble and fall along the way in this new walk with God.) The word of God uses the description of abundant life to convey the concept of living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The truth will truly set you free in your thinking, emotion, and love.(see John 8:32, Matthew 18:18 You can bind yourself up permanently)   Would you like to begin the process of eliminating all compunction out of your life?  Does any of this sound bad to you?

Humbly presented,

Denny

  2. 2 :  the act of drawing in; specifically :  the drawing of air into the lungs

Inspiration, a word used to describe a common act such as drawing air into the lungs, or a complex act of explaining a new idea intellectual or spiritual, and even influencing someone or group by opinions, suggestions.  Inspiration is a word used to describe how the Bible was written; the inspired word of God is the only accurate description of the Bible.  Now how can you say such a thing?

As I will admit to you I have limited time to expose myself and read all literature that has been written so this article will come to you from a limited standpoint of what I have read.  There are many people more qualified than I to write this article, but I felt it needed to be tackled.  My experience though is this: books tend to pass away and become dated.  Homer did a powerful job of writing.  The existence of his works proves it, and they have been translated into many languages.

Yet, the style in which Homer used has become dated.  It seems that Homer is respected for being an ancient writer that is still being read.  Even today Homer is not as well read as he was 50 or hundred years ago.  Yet, even over a longer period of time the Bible has been accurately recorded and handed down over a longer period of time.

The Bible has been changed!  But the Bible when changed, does not last very long as a viable work or literature.  A Bible that has been modified by new ideas is no longer inspired word of God.  Yes, it may have some of the structure and ideas that the Bible has but has added corruption.  These modified “bibles” certainly appear to have a time in the limelight, but soon get weeded out. (Just to be rediscovered and re-entered as a new idea, so sad)

This process of weeding out inaccuracies over time is not a normal pathway for a book to take.  In this  age of remakes, parodies, sequels, and the like of movies, modernization of movies and books, it is commonplace for changes/updates to happen to literature to make it more relevant to today.  However, the Bible has not taken the same route.  Its purity and relevance is eternally founded with its source author and inspiration through mankind. (Many men authors, only one eternal God, who authored, breathed the word of God to man)

The Bibles route has been much more interesting, it lends evidence to have a life of its own, and with its own biologic immune system that keeps itself pure through time and translation. (In time killing off infections of the Word )Hence, the Bible is called the living word.  It not only preserves literature but it also preserves life itself.  The Bible has been described as the one book that understands humanity, people, and me.  In my opinion, understanding implies intelligence and life.  Let us reason!

The essence of life has never changed!  Our technology and things that make life more bearable have changed immensely.  But the simple essence of life has not changed from the beginning .  There is no book that has ever compared to the number one bestseller of all time called the Bible.

Read the Bible for any reason, the Bible will either soften your heart or harden your heart.  If it hardens your heart you will want to change the Bible to something more palatable to you.  If you read the Bible and your heart becomes soft, the living words will begin to change you and move/lead you into a reality that you thought impossible.  It will call you into faith in things that you cannot see, or even imagine in most instances.

A good solid translation or version of the Bible will serve well to lead you in life. all the way to everlasting life.  The inspired word of God is the deepest most unchanging hope mankind has ever been given.  There is perfection in the word of God which requires a helper  to understand.  Yes, the helper is available to you for the asking.  There is no special formula to obtain the help, just some kind of understanding that you need help from God to understand His Word.

I pray God’s inspired word will soften your heart.  I pray that you will enter the struggle to understand reality; it is not easy or for the fainthearted.  Fortunately, we have a help, which will always give us boldness and wisdom for the wise choice to walk more strongly with God or you can choose to faint away at any time.  God is a God of many chances; forgiveness is paramount with God’s interaction with mankind.

Choose to walk with God in full acknowledgment of your imperfection, because God is perfect in understanding with respect to your relationship with Him.  God is perfect, and through the cross of Jesus Christ, he has chosen to give you freely at His cost the same perfection and is calling you to it today.  Yes, right now God is calling you!  It is a choice that is put into your finite hands, and it is absolutely your choice.  My advice, enter into to God’s rest in his perfection.  The gospel of God is following you, chasing you and desires to have fellowship with you.

My prayer for you today is this: May God’s gospel, love, and blessing be invited to  dwell with you even today.  May life’s entrapments not discourage you as you walk toward truth eternal.  As you experience temporary loss, may the hope and faith of eternal fellowship with God and redemption of all bad  be ever your vision and hope.  To God be all honor and glory as we walk and live this current life.  Amen

In Christ,

Denny

A prayer

Dad, it’s me again.  You never cease to amaze me Dad, even though I know you are an awesome God.  You manage to be wonderful even in the worst of times, and the best celebrator of the best of times I’ve ever experienced.

I ask for strength from you heavenly Dad, to help me always be ready for an answer to anyone who asked the reason of your hope in me.  I ask for strength to endure as you show me things about me that I don’t understand and don’t know at this moment.  Those are truly tough times as you expose the reality of who I am.  I need a God who is exactly like you Lord.

Dad, exceedingly far greater is the blessing as you expose the reality of who you are to me.  Your love and care for us as human beings is far beyond compare of anything I’ve seen on this earth.  Your redemptive power is far greater than anything I know of.  Your love to us is unfailing.  Your love Dad is so strong that it creates doubt in me that it could even be true.  Help my unbelief.  Can anything be as good as you heavenly Dad?

I humbly ask for wisdom to be able to see through Lucifer’s shenanigans, falsehoods, entrapments, and shadowy threats of death so that I can see You in your purity Lord.  I ask for words and actions to display you here on this earth heavenly dad that you might be able to use this life, you gave, to make a difference for your Kingdom and increase it.

I thank you for your provision Lord whatever might be, for you are good and able no matter what my circumstances are.  Teach me to forgive my neighbor and then love them like you do.  As You Do This through me Dad, do not allow me to become proud and high-minded.  All good and perfect gifts come from you only Lord.

You are all power Lord, please keep me connected.  You are all Glory Lord, allow me to see and celebrate with you.  Keep me ever mindful that you are eternal Lord, allow my finiteness to honor and glorify you in this life.  Thank you Lord, for being worthy of all my praise and trust in all life my heavenly Dad.

In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen.

Your child Dad,

Denny

A 1% Christian

1% is one part of 100 units.  So, if I had a stack of 100 pennies, took one of the pennies away, one penny would be an example of one percent of the 100 pennies available.  One part of 100 is another way of saying 1%.  You can do this with money, commodities, intellectual property, and all static things in the universe can be measured in this way.

My original thoughts on being a 1% Christian, as the idea physically came into focus, was to think that the work that God did was 99% of what being a Christian is, and I only contributed a measly 1% through my free will choices to be a Christian.  Then I was going to say how prideful I was in thinking that I even had 1% control over this area of being a Christian.

Okay maybe, not bad, I could easily think through this 1% idea in the Bible.  I would cite such verses as, Matthew 11: 28Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”.  I could also use 2 Corinthians 4:17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,          Still there was something missing.

Then God finally got my attention and the verses in James 1: 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to changed 18 Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.  The obvious question was whether or not I was including the source of all good!?

I had to rethink my assumptions.  As long as you are talking about a limited amount of material, it is possible to calculate 1%. With the eternal clearly unmeasurable, what is 1%?  Then the story of the parables came to mind.  Jesus took simple everyday things and compared them to heavenly concepts and ideas that were perfect.  Most every parable pushed hard enough will break down in trying to describe something perfect.  Anytime I use imperfection to compare to perfection the imperfection is willfully deficient in expressing truth of the perfect heavenly concept.

So in the weakness of this 1% analogy of the Christian participation in Christianity I hope you will forgive me for my pride, but please, never forget the source of all good that mankind has ever experienced.  Do not be misled that you are unimportant to God.  I present two truths that you are the least and you are the greatest at the selfsame moment with God.

What is mankind that God has taken notice of him?  All good comes from God in Heaven, not from any person.  All truth, all love, all pure and kind acts, no matter who performs them comes from God and belong to God.  Do not be fooled in any of this.  We are least in these matters.

At the very same moment and in all eternity it is also true that Jesus came and in his weakest moment with great suffering, gave up life.  Then the life that was stolen from him by Lucifer was picked up again in the resurrection happened totally out of Satan’s control.  Our beaten foe has strong propaganda on the source of all the evil that goes on in this world.  Do not be fooled.  We are most important in these matters.

You are very important to God and you were judged worthy by God, of his suffering on the cross which makes you a royal priesthood unto God.  God still gives himself to us by pursuing us each and every one, calling us to come to him.  If you want to become new, accept Jesus as your personal savior.

The evil one will use every tool of discouragement available to him to stop you.  God will allow you to make the choice on who you believe more strongly.  The gentle way hard choice or the entrapment way of no choice, This is the choice we have in this world to make continually as we live and breath.

I am a 1%, Christian, because I give so little and receive so much in return from a pure heavenly place that my father dwells.  I pray this truth will be understood through this poor parable.  Much as the in the parable of the talents, we invest life that is not ours, to honor and glorify a God who wants to give more to us.  Or we bury our talent/life in our self, living a much lesser life that is broken down and worn out. Then the good hidden is taken away and gifted to the investors.  A Life without hope, but filled with fear, worry, anger and a loveless life, can be healed and renewed.  Continuing with troubles, unimpeded by God’s good, as it is now on earth, forever is the alternative default choice.

It is your choice.  If someone makes a choice for you then you are being blackmailed or coerced to love God.  This is not God’s character.  God’s character “you to choose” to love him and trust him. or not.  This is what free will is all about.  Don’t be confused it is your choice.  The choice on how close you follow him once you become a Christian is absolutely yours also.  God is not a taker.  God is a source and you must travel up to him using His power and forgiveness to get to the source.  Are you an overcomer in life?

Humbly submitted,

Fashion statement or Sin Payment?

I will have to admit the photograph above of this beautiful piece of jewelry gave me a very strong reaction when I saw it. I am unsure as to all the feelings that went together to make me feel the way I did, maybe disrespect, accepting the cross as being beautiful to the eye,  just being accepted  as something that is fashion not of  faith.  I feel a deep anger as I write this. And I know that God will forgive me for my anger if it is wrong and also the makers and purchasers of this artwork of the cross of Jesus.

The God who accepted the mission of bringing God the Father’s love to this earth for our benefit laid down His life on the cross. I put the God-man on the cross because of my sin. Every time I see a Cross I feel unworthy of the love that was extended to me by an exceedingly wonderful God at an unmeasurable cost. I also experience the hope of the resurrection as I see the curse.

Galatians 3:13

New Living Translation

But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”

Strange, I do not find the cross worn as jewelry as being offensive. I do find it very challenging every time I see a cross whether on a T-shirt, made of gold, made of wood, made of spike nails, painted, inked, the media doesn’t matter, I’m reminded that I do not deserve the gift I have in the gospel of Jesus Christ. And I know that no nail, law, person, or power could have held Jesus on the cross except for his own resolve to love us back into fellowship with God the Father.

Are we so civilized and removed from the cross that it has become palatable to make it a thing of beauty. Maybe the sin that was cursed on Jesus was not as bad as the Bible says. The conflict is this, the cross is a curse and the work done on the cross was pure bountiful love. So,,, If the Jesus of the cross is represented then it is beauty in the highest form, the cross is still a cursed, fallen reminder of the great price paid for my/our sins.  Yes I get grace for free, God paid the full price, God set/created the cost, to get us redeemed into fellowship with God.

For thousands of years, the Messiah was looked for and patiently waited for, then in a little over 2000 years the cross became a stylized jewelry status symbol.  Will lethal injection or an electric chair be worn around the neck in a few thousand years because somebody died on it?  The cross of Jesus Christ is uniquely special.  Is a symbol of the unfathomable cost that was paid there to reconcile man to God.

Where is the honor to Jesus in making his cross a thing of beauty, not a curse that was necessary to redeem man in his deep need?  Are we so removed from the cross that it no longer has the meaning it did at one time?  God forbid!  The cross was a place of torture and shame.  Neither of which Jesus deserved because he lived a perfect life.

Is there any good thing about the method that was used to kill Christ Jesus who did nothing wrong?  No, there is nothing good about the curse of the cross!  The work that was done on the cross was good and perfect love to us.  Let each of us consider carefully before we choose what we do with this cross Jesus.  Let us not forget the cross was not last act of God toward us.  The cross is the rugged start to our hope in Christ Jesus that we have a restored relationship with our heavenly father through the payment on the cross and a powerful awesome resurrection of Jesus.

Life can be better, but without the cross of Jesus Christ, life has no absolute standard to make all suffering we endure here a joy because of what was done for me on the cross.  James says that this way count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations.  Read the entire book of James in the New Testament.  You will see wisdom played out in a way not often experienced in the civilized world we live in.

I am in a state of weltschmerz in regard to how Jesus is viewed in an accepted yet, in a distortedly wrong way today.  Lord help us to see you more clearly.  Lord forgive my unbelief.  Lord help us to behave as you would behave not to get ourselves into heaven, but to show you that we appreciate what you have done and we are mimicking your ways to the best of our ability.

In Christ,

Denny

Time with the idiot?

Well!  What kind of question are you asking?  It’s not very kind or Christian like!  Yes, you are correct.  But, I ask the question again have you ever spent time with idiot?  No, idiot is not someone you can talk to face-to-face.  You may be thinking right now, well, then who is idiot?  I cannot cite sources because I’ve collected this information over many years.  Some refer to idiot as self-talk, automatic negative thoughts, the voice inside your head, your own worst enemy, and many other descriptors of this particular malady that everyone that I have had close conversations with, suffers with.

I cannot cite sources because I’ve collected this information over many years.  Some refer to idiot as self-talk, automatic negative thoughts, the voice inside your head, your own worst enemy, and many other descriptors of this particular malady that everyone that I have had close conversations with, suffers with.

Maybe just maybe, the thorns in the flesh that Paul prayed for relief from, could they be a voice in his head that reminded him of failures and worthlessness?  Paul was neither a widely accepted Jewish person as a believer like he was when he was a persecutor, nor did everything turn to gold that he touched.

Paul wanted to do oh so much more for God, but his human frailties next his efforts.  I truly believe the only reason for any defect, emotional, relational, or spiritual that we have is to keep us mindful continually of a God who loves us and gave himself for us.  Our human pride is easily stirred and is false, while humility is uplifting and true.

I truly believe the only reason for any defect, emotional, relational, or spiritual that we have is to keep us mindful continually of a God who loves us and gave himself for us.  Our human pride is easily stirred and is false, while humility is uplifting and true.

In my opinion, this person inside of you who knows all about you and everything you ever did that was negative, or did not turn out very well a.k.a. failures, speaks negativity to you on every possible occasion.  It is something we have to live with as humans.  As I have been reading books by Timothy Keller of New York not, Pennsylvania,(both are good) whom I think has a wonderful grasp on the gospel and the human condition and is able to describe it in an understandable way.  Through a better understanding of the gospel I’ve been given the freedom to look at idiot in a new way.

As I have been reading books by Timothy Keller of New York not, Pennsylvania,(both are good) whom I think has a wonderful grasp on the gospel and the human condition and is able to describe it in an understandable way.  Through a better understanding of the gospel, I’ve been introduced to the freedom to look at idiot in a new way.

As you can tell idiot is that part of you that condemns you.  In the room nobody else is condemning you they are saying you did a great job but there something inside of you still condemning you.  When things are going well it’s always whispering something’s going to go bad.

When things are going bad it really stands up and pipes up and gets loud and it expounds why you are so bad, worthless and you are the reason for all the problems that you’re experiencing.  I have yet to talk to a person that hasn’t had this experience at one time or another.

When you spend time with idiot usually come away very discouraged and disappointed in life, circumstance, and the frustration of not being able to find a way out of the situation.  A test I use in situations of life is this.  If it seems like blackmail or coercion and there’s no way around it and there is no escape from the trap.  Then I think it is some from Satan and his realm.  If there is a way of escape out of it and I can think of the way of escape I consider the problem to be God allowed.

God always makes a way of escape, Satan always likes entrapment.  The escape will not be doing something evil or wrong, but it might cause you to lose face or respect from somebody else from this world.  Yes, the way of escape will cost something.  It will also affirm God to you in a new way and his ability to see you through tough situations.

A couple operating rules with idiot I have used.  First of all, never, never, never, retreat from idiot as soon as you hear him dogging you turn your spirit and face idiot and approach idiot!  When you retreat from idiot the dogging lasts much longer and drags you down into deeper despair.

The next thing I would suggest to deal with idiot.  Always use your voice to talk over idiot.  Now what do you say to idiot?  You tell idiot everything’s going to be okay!  You tell idiot that idiot is loved.  You tell it that you love idiot, and you are convinced Jesus loves idiot and he has everything under control.  You tell idiot not only do you love them personally but you know that God loves idiot also.

Another thing to tell idiot as you deal with idiot.  It is not always going to be like this idiot there is hope and there is going to be a major change and you will be redeemed and all the problems you have in all the fears you try to generate inside of me are going to go away. The troubles you talk about are temporary, not eternal.

As you talk to idiot, idiot will begin to get quiet.  The dogging from idiot will stop.  Do your best not to let idiot talk why you are talking to idiot.  If idiot does speak continue to comfort and to throw as much grace and love as you possibly can muster on to idiot.

This learning process is not only good for idiot it is good for you.  Why is a good for you?  Because as you interact with idiot you are interacting with some of the lowest most deeply wrong parts of you.  Aso you learn to love those parts of you that are very wrong, out of place and out of sorts, your attitudes about love will begin to change to be more accurately aligned to what God’s standard of love is.

When you begin to love idiot you learn to love something that is unlovable.  Your love toward others will change and follow this pattern.  You know you’ve heard it, love others as you love yourself!  We all have ugly in is less the Bible is lying to me.  I have had people tell me that they did not have ugly in themselves to deal with.  Yet, I could see it dripping off of them as they walked and talked and dealt with other people and themselves.

As your love is realigned to God standard you be able to complete the one another commandments much more effectively.  Be kind and affectionate to one to another, seeing others as better than you, forgiving one another, and even more.

The tools to attack idiot with in no particular order: patients, kindness, grace, mercy, and love.  This is one occasion when the fruits of the spirit can be used to help you in a mighty way.  Give your fruit of your spirit to idiot.  It will comfort idiot and idiot will become less aggressive in your life.  Yes, God’s grace is real and works and some very nonconventional methods.

By the way, I have renamed my idiot that no longer call it idiot.  I did not like the word idiot so I renamed idiot to someone else.  You can do the same and you’re not calling the negative a negative but as you learn to love your idiot a name will come up and you will be able to use it.  Try not to pick a person’s name do you do not like.  Look up the meaning of names, what do you want your idiot to become?

Without a vision people perish.  Give your idiot a vision!

Stay in the battle,

Denny

The biggest problem!

As I have pondered life both in being a Christian and not being a Christian.  I realized I have suffered through both conditions!  In one condition there were moments of joy with lots of crazy hurt.  And strangely enough in the other condition even though troubles still happen when I am with Christ Jesus there is a joy that is available in the deepest and darkest of times and the joy wrapped up and hope to see me through.

So, the biggest problem what is it?  Does it have anything to do with money?  Does that have to do with food and shelter?  Does it have to do is clothing?  Does it have anything you do it the way I act?  Well,, kind of yes, yet so much more!

There are some things in this life that I can say yes, I understand how they work.  How do beauty, love, thought, consciousness, decision-making, and a soul or a spirit work or operate in us?  Of these things I’m in contact with most of them every day.  How do I use these things and not understand how they operate or why they are in existence?  How can I ask questions about something I don’t know much about?  The beyond here feeling is common and real gift from God to think.

Can you see a problem in my questions?  I am talking and thinking about things when studied, you come away more confused and bewildered than with good solid answers.  Is there life after death?  Is this a problem?  Well, on one hand you may choose not to believe there’s life after death and all’s we are is here and now.  This presents a problem for me!  If I’m only here now why should not I destroy anything in my way of happiness and kill and maim anyone who tries to get in my way?  If I’m only here now and there is nothing else what’s the point of Kind living?

This dilemma was so beautifully answered for me in my quest for answers to questions that there were no answers for in a person named in Jesus Christ.  Now wait!  Don’t jump to too many conclusions about Jesus just yet.  My first question is, have you personally read about Jesus?  Just so you know reading is not enough with Jesus and his word called the Bible.  There is oh so much more to Jesus than just what you read.  However, what you read about Jesus is truly impressive.

I hope you’re starting to see some problems!  I am finite in all my nature which means I am limited.  As I experience an unlimited God it keeps me in a continual state of awe.  In this state of awe, what I find is a direct line to truth.  I now can see the problem I’ve had all along.  The problem was a deep, deep, deep fear that if I were to last forever, could I live a good enough life to earn some kind of reward for good behavior?  This has provided a wrestling match between God and I that still goes on sometimes today!

The really big problem I had is whether or not I was going to heaven or hell.  Another problem came up when I realized that even though my life has been relatively mild compared to some I have been in contact with.  I still saw failures, I had no right to live in heaven.  This continually presented me with a big problem.  When I meet people and they interact with me something happens between us that is beyond understanding.  We connect!  Some connections are bad, some connections are good, some connections are stupendous and long-lasting and called friends. Is this a taste of God in everyday life.

How can all these things happen if we were just intended for now and there’s nothing else?  Wouldn’t we be totally selfish if there was nothing else?  And if you say no we wouldn’t be selfish, what would be your motivation not to be selfish?  There is only survival of the fittest in nature.  Which translates into kill or be killed!  That’s the best evolution has to offer.  And if there’s no eternity and there’s nothing else then I’m willing to go with evolution and survival of the fittest. There is more than nature. YOU know it deep inside you. Slow down and you will experance it.

So now with my problem in hand, of going to hell and no way on this earth to get out of this problem what am I to do?  I can’t good behave my way out of hell because I slip and I fall off my own standards, not including God’s!  Sounds like I’m in need of some outside help.  But who will step in and help me out I do not deserve to be helped.  Is there someone really that good in the world that I experience?  Well, my friend, my answer is absolutely there is not.

Fortunately, there is someone who operates on a supernatural basis not a natural one!  He is so beyond me that he had to express himself to me as three persons Father, Son, Holy Spirit.  In this expression I came to understand that the three had eternally past, present and future existed in peace and perfect love existence demonstrating pure love in the highest form I have ever experienced.

This love was demonstrated to me through Jesus Christ who became begotten of men.  Jesus is the only begotten or born of man one in the Trinity.  The only reason Jesus had to be born of man was to become vulnerable to Satan’s schemes of death and killing.  Jesus is both God and man.  Because of his vulnerability of manhood he was able to do something for me that I could not do for myself.

Jesus answered the big problem with his life, death, and resurrection the biggest problem I have ever come up against.  And that was the problem of not being able to have a good reason to go to heaven.  What the gospel or good news of Jesus says is this.  Because Jesus loves me and called me (he calls every person who has ever lived to himself no matter what their belief system is) and somehow I answered, yes in my delima, through his grace  Jesus said because of my work, that I did when I lived, I have paid the complete price for your entry into heaven.

Without this one act from a benevolent God I had no hope of ever having eternal life.  He solved my biggest problem by paying in full the price of my entry into heaven.  As I look at it, there was no other way for me to get into heaven.  Religion simply put me under a burden that I could not bear up under or keep.  A relationship with God that I do not deserve, took care of everything that I had to worry about.  This is the rest offered to me to live in as a believer in Jesus Christ.  A paid for in full sonship to the God that loves me and gave himself for me.

Now, with the perspective of hell being taking care of, I find that I see other problems, no matter how big or how badly they hurt as much smaller when compared to hell.  Now you may ask how do I pay for such a rest as Jesus offered.  The simple answer is I can’t and you can’t.  It has already been paid for by Jesus Christ on his cross where every bad thing that has ever been or happened has purchased and put under the control of God.

No evil ever comes from God.  However, God commands evil because he bought and paid for it and put it under his control.  Therefore I have no worry about the fallenness and hurt that goes on around me and happens to me because my Heavenly Father is taking care of all of it.  For now he has allowed the wheat and the weeds sometimes called tares in the Bible to grow together.  They (PROBLEMS) will continually call us to make the decision whether or not we believe in God or not.  Every time something good happens every time something bad happens we are faced with the challenge of deciding whether or not God exists or not. Is God good in what happened?  What do you say?

As much as God gets blamed for all the bad things that ever happen, it seems Satan has a very good smokescreen for his actions.  The question is where is God when bad things happen?  God is with each and every person that something bad happens to.  The real question is; what is the person that the bad thing is happening to doing with God.  God will never force that person to believe in him.  Instead God has given us a free will to make the choice to believe in him or not.

Our choice that we make for or against God never diminishes his love for us.  What a choice does is limit how much God can do for us in our eternity.  Yes, God has chosen to limit himself to your decision about him.  If you accept his call and say yes to Jesus he can then by your choice destroy all evil around you and replace it with righteousness and purity.  If you choose not to accept Jesus and his gift of the gospel, he will honor your choice and not force you into relationship with him.

Yes, you can opt. out of God’s paid in full forgivness program  er,  better word relationship……

If you want your biggest problems  takien care of, ask God to help you hear and answer him.  You may call yourself into a fiery trial to see God.  You may call yourself into a time of blessing.  However, God is not above blending both of these two exterams together in a very special formula, formulated just for you to activate your entire person to see God and answer his call.  God is not controllable, nor is he predictable!  But he understands you inside and out and knows what you need to happen in life to bring out the very best parts of you that he has put into you.

Therefore through the gospel of Jesus Christ I understand more and more each and every day however, little each and every day, but more each and every day that I can count everything loss that wasn’t for Jesus Christ.

No, I do not behave, work, or act like a good person to get into heaven.  I look at the gospel and the love that is presented to me and it by Jesus Christ and then do my best to imitate it in some way.  This is the only way I know to bring Jesus Christ to a world who is lost, dying, and hurting.

Lord my hope. Please use me to scatter your good seed everywhere I go. Help me do this in your strength and your way. Let me not become proud if you use me to do your good work. Teach me to give you all the honor and glory in all you do for me and through me.

in JESUS name,

Amen.

What do you say?
